The Masters

Me, Rich, and my parents headed to Augusta, GA this week to watch a practice round of the Masters. We had all been really excited about going and the day couldn't have been any more perfect. As you can see, it was absolutely beautiful all day.
He is ranked #1 and I couldn't even remember his name.

This picture above was definitely one of the highlights of the day. This is hole 16 which is a par3. The players would tee off and then step down at the edge of the pond and hit again. The goal was to skip the golf balls across the pond and make it all the way to the end and jump out on the green. Not everyone was successful, but it sure was fun watching.
This is Richard's favorite hole...#13

I came up the hill and got a look at these 3. How funny! They all have their hands on their hips and are the same distance apart. How did that happen?

Tom Watson

One of my favorite golfers. I guess you could say I'm old school.

Another favorite...Davis Love III

Below was one of Richard's highlights of the day...Bill Murray. LOL
You may be aware of my luck with vehicles recently so you may understand my concern when I saw this sight below. The closer I got, the more shocked I became because this tree was standing when we left our vehicle.

The navy Suburban is ours.
I had bragged to Richard on what a good parking place we had because he will drive around for 30 minutes at target to just get close to the door. Drives me crazy at times. I was telling him that it was good because noone could park close to us and hit the doors and that the vehicle would be in the shade because of the tree.
I could have almost laughed when I looked at the white vehicle. I know that sounds mean, but I couldn't believe that I finally had a little good luck. I sure hate that it wasn't their lucky day and it's terrible that it happened, but I was SO VERY HAPPY that we would be heading straight home.

I was happy for us too! I didn't see the people in the white vehicle, but I did ask the "man in charge" about them. They had been there and had already left. I hope they got a new vehicle out of the ordeal!
