Beach 2010

Papaw came out to help his boy boogie board. People get confused about what to call Gavin because my family calls him Richie, but he answers to several things. haha!

The girls always look forward to their night out dressing the same. This is what Sadie picked out this year. We headed out to Broadway at the Beach and ate at Sadie's favorite restaurant Japanese Steakhouse.

Sadie is still wearing her original "sadie style" skirt that I made 3 seasons ago. She has outgrown two shirts that I have made to match this and this is her third, but the skirt still fits great.

Tree swing for me today!

We took a ride down the lake today with our friend Machia to try out the tree swing. It was a bit scary once I got up there because it is much higher than it looks, but it was a blast! I had to do it twice :) Again, we only had a camera phone, so the picture is not real clear. That is me getting ready to swing and Machia waiting her turn.

Miss Ashlinn Grace is growing fast!

Sadie and I got to meet Ashlinn in person just as summer was beginning and boy hasn't she grown! Look how sweet that little smile is! Sadie enjoyed getting to hold her as you can see. It's gonna be hard getting JoJo back to town when school starts back, but I guess it's gonna be just as hard to get me back as well. I hope JoJo and the Robbins family are enjoying their time together!!!!!

Toy Story 3

We went to see Toy Story 3 while we were at the beach and it is a "must see". Toy Story movies have always been my favorites so I was really excited to go see this one at the movies with the kids. We went to the 3D one and Gavin was glued to the show. He hollered out, "It's starting!" It was cute how he didn't know to be quiet. I have only taken him to two other movies, but he was a little small to really sit still through the whole thing. He and Sadie really enjoyed going and since they did so well, I might take them back soon :)

Yes, when it comes to eating, they are definitely like their daddy. Well, except for the Cocoa Pebbles. We road up to 33 bridge with some friends and stopped to eat at the dock. Once Richard got his plate, both kids were sitting with him. They ate ribs, which is something I do not eat. They love steak, shrimp, ribs, strawberries, and much, much more, but those are not my cup of tea. I usually stick to bread, salad, and potatoes. I love ordering a grilled cheese off the kids menu and since the kids usually eat off Richard's plate, it frees up a kids meal for me. haha!

They had to shoot a game of pool before we left, but not without a little lesson from their daddy.

Sadie and Richard went fishing in the paddle boat and they drifted way down the cove so papaw went and brought them back. Looks like Sadie jumped ship and road with papaw.
