Proud of their garden
Nannie and Papaw helped the kids put out a garden this year and they were thrilled when they got the first goods out of it...cucumbers!
I asked dad how long it had been since he had put a garden out and he thought it had been around 40 years. What grandparents will do for their grandkids!

Beach 2011
We had a great vacation again this year with our family. The kids always look forward to this vacation because they get to spend time with their cousins. The weather was great and the relaxation was even better.

Nannie had written Sadie and Gavin's name really big on the beach and Sadie was excited to see it.

This year we stayed at a new place and the kids had the best time on the water slide.
Broadway at the Beach is always a must for Sadie & Cora!
Sadie and Gavin got feathers in their hair before we left. Gavin wanted one so badly and I thought that it was just fine since Steven Tyler has one...Haha!
A trip to Build-a-Bear
The kids and Richard are already planning for next year!
