Go Mavs!

Here is an outfit I made for a Mavericks fan. I think she will make her big brother proud supporting his team! The school colors are not navy and pink (as I'm sure you already knew), but with the suggestion from Lori to use pink, I ran with it. I hope you like it Lori and thanks for your business!

"Let's talk fashion"

Have you ever seen such in your life? They have picked their fashion from a line of clothes called "Loud Mouth Golf". I think the name says it all. How would you like to roll in some place with these two? It's the story of my life because one is my husband and one is my brother. Gotta love them! I added these pictures of Sadie so you could verify who she is more like. Mommy or Daddy? Need I show you more?

The Gingerbread House

Sadie made her first Gingerbread House this year with a little help from Gavin, as you can imagine. Her daddy helped with the construction, but she decorated it. She was so proud of it and wanted me to put a picture of it on my blog. I also added some Christmas pictures of the kids from the past years. I love looking at old pictures to compare how much they have grown.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas! I enjoyed spending time with my family and having a few days of just being at home. I have started working on the snowman shirts and outfits again. Hopefully I will be able to get those out to every one who has placed orders sometime the first week of January. I will keep you posted.

Custom pillowcases

These are some custom pillow cases that I made recently. This is a great gift for Christmas or birthdays. It's always fun making these for my kids. Sadie loves getting to pick her fabrics out and it's fun seeing what she will come up with. We have several spare pillow cases that we use when we travel. The best part for Sadie is that it doesn't have to match her bedroom. It's a little something that she can take with her that shows a touch of that personality.

Coaster Christmas ornaments for Sadie's Class

I was roaming through Hobby Lobby and came across these coasters on clearance. I thought how cute...what could I do with them? I put them in my buggy and continued to shop when it came to me...Christmas ornaments for Sadie's class! I picked up the letters at Hobby Lobby too. All it took was a little hot glue and ribbon. I stamped the back of each one with "From Sadie, 2008". What do you do for 20 students for Christmas that is reasonable? You make Christmas ornaments. I had this tin box that I put them in for Sadie to carry in to class. It's little ideas like this that make my head spin. I have so many projects that I want to do. I lay in bed at night and think this stuff up. I just wish I had the time to do only half that I think up.

A trip to Disney World

This was made for Gracie. She is one lucky girl! Disney World in December would be a blast!

Sunday night shirts

I made two of these for Sadie's preschool teachers.

Lacey is turning 2! So cute with a pink tutu!

I usually can't get much accomplished until the kids are in bed and that was the case yesterday. I didn't get going until around 9:00 and around 1am I had a visitor. Gavin decided to join me. I finished up the last shirt around 1:30 and we came downstairs. On the way through the kitchen, he decided he wanted to eat. "Warm pizza up...eat?" I can't put my kids to bed with the slightest thought of them being hungry. So, we sat at the table and ate pizza at 1:30 this morning.

Birthdays in December!

These outfits were made for Amanda. She had two birthday parties this weekend. Wow! Amanda came over and picked out the fabrics for these. She knew she wanted pink and green so we pulled out some of the pink and green fabrics and this is what she decided on. I think they turned out adorable. These were sizes 12m and 18m...I think. Makes me miss Sadie being little. Thanks Amanda! Sadie had a blast at your house.

Princess Sadie & Princess Eva

Sadie had a surprise visitor last night...Miss Eva. She was so excited to see her. Sadie and Eva are in the same preschool class and have become good friends. Everything she tells us about school pertains to Eva and Daley.

Eva's mom came by to order some outfits last night and as soon as Eva got there, Sadie kidnapped her to the "boutique". It is a dormer closet in Sadie's room that Santa turned into a boutique last Christmas. Needless to say the two girls had a blast! When they came out, Sadie had a tutu on her head as a veil and said they were getting married. How funny!
